TRAGEDY IN IBOGUN: SHEPHERD AND WIFE DIE HOURS APART AFTER DOMESTIC DISPUTE

A tragic incident has left residents of Akiode, Ibogun, Ogun State, in shock after a Celestial Church of Christ shepherd, Evangelist Abidemi Odukoya, and his wife, Adenike Odukoya, reportedly died in separate incidents just hours apart.

According to community sources, the couple had a domestic dispute at about 3:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, during which Mrs. Odukoya reportedly sustained serious head injuries and later died.

Hours later, Evangelist Odukoya was reportedly killed in a road accident along the Lagos–Abeokuta Expressway around Iyana Coker, Ifo.

There are allegations that he deliberately ran into the path of an oncoming truck, but this has not been independently confirmed.

The police have reportedly commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding both deaths.

The community is awaiting further details as authorities continue their investigation.

SO-SAFE CORPS SMASHES DIESEL THEFT SYNDICATE IN ILARO, ARRESTS THREE SUSPECTS

Operatives of the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) have arrested three suspects allegedly involved in the theft and illegal purchase of diesel meant for a road construction project along Sokoto Road, Idogo, in Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government Area. According to the Corps, the operation followed weeks of intelligence gathering and surveillance after reports emerged that diesel allocated for the road project was being diverted and sold to a criminal network.
