The Olota of Ota, His Royal Majesty Oba Adeyemi Obalanlege, has officially commissioned two major developmental projects aimed at improving security and healthcare delivery across Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government.
The newly commissioned projects include a modern Police Divisional Headquarters and a fully equipped 40-bed Primary Health Centre facilitated by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The state-of-the-art police facility is expected to strengthen security operations and improve law enforcement response across the Ota axis, while the new health centre will provide residents with better access to quality and affordable healthcare services.
Speaking during the commissioning, stakeholders described the projects as landmark achievements that will leave lasting impacts on the lives of residents and future generations.
“These are legacy projects that will greatly enhance the safety, wellbeing, and overall development of our communities,” a community leader stated.
Residents have also applauded the initiatives, noting that the projects reflect a strong commitment toward community development and public welfare in Ota.
