The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially produced its senatorial flagbearers for the 2027 general elections in Ogun State.
Governor Dapo Abiodun emerged as the party’s candidate for Ogun East Senatorial District, while Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu clinched the Ogun Central ticket. In Ogun West, former House of Representatives member, Jimoh Ojugbele, secured the APC senatorial nomination.
The results were announced by the Chairman of the Senatorial Primary Election Committee, Comrade Phillip Shuaib, who described the exercise across the three senatorial districts as peaceful, transparent, and orderly.
With the primaries concluded, the trio will now fly the APC flag in the February 2027 general elections as political activities continue to gather momentum across Ogun State.
