Today, as former President Olusegun Obasanjo marks his 89th birthday on March 5, 2026, I extend my warmest felicitations to this towering global icon and inspirational leader whose contributions have shaped Nigeria's history and continue to guide our nation.

Chief Obasanjo's life of service from his roles as military head of state and democratic president to his enduring voice on governance, peace, and development remains a profound example of dedication and resilience.

As a proud daughter of Ogun State, I deeply admire how his legacy inspires generations, including my own journey in humanitarian care and public service. His wisdom has touched countless lives, reminding us all of the power of principled leadership and unwavering commitment to Nigeria's progress.

In the spirit of unity and shared aspiration for a better future, I pray that Almighty God grants him continued good health, strength, and wisdom. May his insights continue to illuminate our path toward a more prosperous and harmonious Ogun State and Nigeria.

Happy Birthday, Baba Obasanjo! Your example motivates us to lead with courage and compassion.
