Ogun Gov Hopeful, Dr. Bolaji Marie Odusina Unveils 12-Point Development Agenda
Renowned medical practitioner, humanitarian and development advocate, Dr. Bolaji Marie Odusina, who formally declared her intention to contest the governorship election in Ogun State penultimate week has unveiling a comprehensive 12-Point Development Agenda designed to transform the state into a model of sustainable growth, prosperity and global relevance.
Addressing supporters, community leaders and stakeholders during a familiarization session, Dr. Odusina said her ambition is driven by a strong desire to reposition Ogun State as a leading economic, educational and investment hub in Nigeria.
According to her, the proposed agenda focuses on strategic sectors that directly affect the wellbeing and prosperity of the people.
The 12-Point Agenda
1. Electricity Development
Dr. Odusina pledged to prioritize stable electricity supply across the state by encouraging independent power projects, renewable energy initiatives and partnerships with private investors to improve power availability for homes and industries.
2. Education Reform
She promised to strengthen the education sector by improving infrastructure in schools, supporting teachers, expanding digital learning opportunities and ensuring that students receive quality education that prepares them for global competitiveness.
3. Wealth Creation
A key pillar of her agenda is the creation of sustainable economic opportunities through support for small and medium enterprises, youth entrepreneurship, industrial growth and access to funding for business development.
4. Infrastructure Development
Dr. Odusina emphasized the need for improved roads, transportation systems, housing and urban development that will support commerce and ease movement across the state.
5. Legacy & Longevity
She noted that her administration would focus on long-term development plans that will outlive political tenures, ensuring that projects and policies are sustainable and beneficial to future generations.
6. Empowerment Programmes
Women, youths and vulnerable groups will benefit from targeted empowerment initiatives including vocational training, grants, skill acquisition programmes and access to business opportunities.
7. Water Supply
Recognizing the importance of clean water, Dr. Odusina pledged to expand water infrastructure to ensure reliable and safe water supply to rural and urban communities.

Her administration will promote environmental protection through waste management reforms, tree planting initiatives, pollution control and sustainable urban planning.

As a medical doctor, Dr. Odusina stressed that healthcare will be a major priority. Her plans include upgrading hospitals, improving access to medical services, expanding health insurance and strengthening primary healthcare delivery.
