SO-SAFE CORPS ARRESTS 29-YEAR-OLD MAN OVER ALLEGED SEXUAL ASSAULT IN OTA

The Ogun State So-Safe Corps has arrested 29-year-old Salaudeen Toheeb over an alleged sexual assault involving a 22-year-old woman around Olohunda, Ota.

According to the Corps, the woman had reportedly been missing from home before she was found with the suspect on October 3, 2026.

The suspect allegedly took the woman to his residence after meeting her in a distressed state. The Corps said the woman reportedly resisted his alleged sexual advances before the incident allegedly occurred.

The woman's father later requested that the matter be transferred to the Nigeria Police Force, Owode-Yewa Division, for further investigation.

The Police will determine the facts of the case through due process.

SO-SAFE CORPS SMASHES DIESEL THEFT SYNDICATE IN ILARO, ARRESTS THREE SUSPECTS

Operatives of the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) have arrested three suspects allegedly involved in the theft and illegal purchase of diesel meant for a road construction project along Sokoto Road, Idogo, in Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government Area. According to the Corps, the operation followed weeks of intelligence gathering and surveillance after reports emerged that diesel allocated for the road project was being diverted and sold to a criminal network. Acting on credible intelligence, officers laid an ambush and intercepted the suspects after a dramatic chase.
