ADO-ODO/OTA CONSTITUENCY I: THE TIME FOR YOUTHFUL REPRESENTATION IS NOW!

The future of Ado-Odo/Ota Constituency I deserves leadership that listens, understands the people's challenges, and is ready to turn their concerns into action.

Hon. Okikiola Abayomi Olundegun (O.A.O) is making a case for people-focused representation ahead of the 2027 Ogun State House of Assembly election, with a message that puts visibility, accountability and community development at the centre.

In his words:

“Good representation is not about speaking big English on the floor of the House. It is about bringing your pain, your needs and your voice to the table where decisions are made.”

If given the mandate in 2027, he promises:

1. I WILL BE SEEN: No absentee representation. He says he will remain present in the streets, wards and communities, among the people he represents.

2. I WILL BE HEARD: He pledges to advocate for better roads, schools, youth development, market women and improved security at the Assembly.

3. I WILL DELIVER: He promises empowerment initiatives and projects that make a meaningful difference in the lives of people across Ado-Odo/Ota Constituency I.

He further declares:

“I am not going there to enrich myself. I am going there to represent you well.”

As the 2027 election approaches, the conversation about effective representation and youth participation continues. Young people have an important role to play in asking questions, examining promises and deciding what kind of leadership they want for their constituency.

Ladi Adebutu, to the Palace of the Olota of Ota, reportedly in connection with an “Awori Obas Forum.” In a statement signed by Chief Kazeem Akinsola Nasir, Ìríjú Oba of Ado-Odo and Secretary to the Palace, the palace said the gathering should not be interpreted as representing all Awori traditional rulers in Ogun State. It also emphasised the distinct traditional position of the ...
