The Ogun State Police Command has provided an update on the case involving Abigeal Nsikak, popularly known as Mirabel on TikTok.
According to the Command, following her online rape allegation, Mirabel reported at the police station and was promptly taken to a medical facility for examination. Police confirmed that she has been cooperating with investigators as the matter is being handled in line with due process.
For her welfare and proper support, she has been released to the Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, which has taken responsibility for her care.
The Ministry assured authorities that she will be made available whenever required as the investigation continues.
The Police Command stated that the case is being treated with professionalism and sensitivity, urging members of the public to avoid speculation and allow the investigation to proceed.
