Ogun Governor-elect appoints Olamide, Eniola Badmus and Abayomi Oke Asiwaju as members of transition team

It looks like Olamide baddo , Abayomi Oke Asiwaju and Eniola Badmus' journey to politics is about to start as they both have been named in Ogun Governor-Elect, Dapo Abiodun’s economic transition committee.
Ogun state Governor-elect, Dapo Abiodun has announced that Nigerian actress, Eniola Badmus and Popular musician, Adedeji Olamide would be part of his commerce and industry team as he prepares to take over from Governor Ibikunle Amosun on May 29th.

The Ogun state Governor released the list titled ”Prince Dapo Abiodun Economic Transition Committee” via his instagram page on the 15th of April, 2019.

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, has announced that the state have secured a landmark investment of up to $2.5 billion for Africa’s first Disneyland-style resort. While highlighting the state’s rapid economic growth and tourism potential, Abiodun revealed that Ogun’s economy has expanded from N3.5 trillion to N16 trillion over the past six years, ranking it among Nigeria’s fastest-growing economies. In a post via his X handle, the governor credited this growth to strategic investments in infrastructure, basic amenities, and tourism development, noting that Olumo Rock now generates about N20 million weekly following its renovation. The governor further disclosed that MAG Group recently visited Abeokuta and pledged to invest between $1.8 billion and $2.5 billion in hospitality and entertainment projects.
