Buruji Kashamu In a statement by the Media Consultant to Ogun State Chapter of PDP, Mr. Afolabi Orekoya said:

” In a swift reaction to the public declaration by Senator Kashamu that the name of Leke Shittu has been substituted for his own as the governorship candidate of  PDP in Ogun State.

APC condemns suspension of Ex-DTHA speaker, Igbuya “It will be recalled that the name of Leke Shittu was published two weeks ago by INEC as the governorship candidate of PDP in Ogun State. “Senator Kashamu who is representing Ogun East Senatorial District of Ogun State cannot be the party’s candidate in the State as he is no longer a member of PDP. He urged all PDP members in Ogun State to discountenance the political shenanigan of Kashamu.

“The only recognized faction of PDP in Ogun State is that of the Sikirulai Ogundele led executives which produced Ladi Adetutu as the governorship candidate of Ogun State. It is expected that the matter of recognition before the appellate and the Supreme courts will soon be determined. We are also optimistic that the name of the authentic PDP candidate in the state in the person of Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu will then be published by INEC”.
